Injectables + Botox
Refresh and renew your face
Eliminate the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and restore the youthful contours of your face with injectables and dermal fillers. For fine lines and wrinkles, we offer injectables such as BOTOX®, Dysport, and Xeomin, and hyaluronan-based dermal fillers for volume and enhancement.
How BOTOX®, Dysport + Xeomin work
BOTOX®, Dysport and Xeomin are commonly used to reduce or eliminate the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. These neurotoxins, which are made from a purified protein, block the nerve signals that cause muscles to contract. This effect relaxes and smooths the look of lines and wrinkles caused by repetitive movements on the face.
The Botulinum toxin is also used cosmetically to balance facial asymmetry and relax tight neck bands, as well as medically to reduce perspiration, treat migraine headaches, and muscle spasticity.
When to Consider BOTOX® and similar injectables
- Deep lines between your eyes make you look tired, angry, sad, or upset
- Your facial expressions cause wrinkles in and around your eyes and forehead
- There is asymmetry in your eyebrows or face that can be corrected by relaxing a muscle

Frequently asked questions

How does BOTOX® (or similar injectables) work?
As facial muscles contract, the loose skin above the muscles wrinkle and crease. BOTOX® works by weakening the muscles into which it is injected, resulting in wrinkle reduction and a more youthful appearance.
How is BOTOX® (or similar injectables) typically used?
The injectable is primarily used to treat frown lines, forehead creases, and crow’s feet, but is also used in other areas, including lips, lower face, neck, and even downturned smiles.
How long do the results of BOTOX® (or similar injectables) last?
The effects from BOTOX® will last four to six months. As muscle action gradually returns, the lines and wrinkles begin to reappear, which will require another treatment. The lines and wrinkles often appear less severe with time because the muscles are being trained to relax.
Is there any pain or downtime associated with injectable treatments?
Any injection can hurt, but the needles used for BOTOX® injections are very small, so pain is usually minimal, if any. The area can also be numbed with a topical anesthetic cream or cold pack prior to injection. You may feel a slight tenderness in the injected area for a short time, which will usually be gone within 3-4 days. Also note that bruising can occur with injection. There is no social downtime associated with this treatment.
Is BOTOX® (or a similar injectable) right for me?
If you’re trying to fight wrinkles (whether treating existing lines or preventing new ones), BOTOX® may be for you.
