IV Ketamine Infusion
Your relief for chronic pain
Alleviate your pain
Chronic pain is the most common cause of long-term disability in the United States, affecting over 76 million Americans. There are many different treatment options to help alleviate chronic pain, including prescription pain medications which work to weaken the pain signals. Ketamine is known to be very effective for treating chronic pain, as it has been shown to directly influence the physiological pathways in the body causing chronic pain.
At Hudson Medical + Wellness, we pride ourselves on offering the latest advances in treatments. IV Ketamine therapy has been proven as a safe and effective treatment for chronic pain. Ketamine can be infused through intravenous therapy in lower doses to provide safer and more effective chronic pain treatment.
How IV Ketamine therapy works
When treating chronic pain with ketamine infusion, it corrects a process known as central sensitization. It is a process that causes the body to increase the intensity and number of pain signals over time. Ketamine interferes and blocks the process by "resetting" the pain signals. This can significantly lessen pain and help the brain learn to decrease the sensation of pain over time.
Every patient is unique and deserves special care. At Hudson Medical + Wellness, our team of Anesthesiologists, Pain Management specialists, Neurologists, and Psychiatrists have years of experience working with ketamine infusions. We will work with you to create the most effective treatment based on your response and unique needs.
