What Types of Runners Are Eligible for the Running Gait Analysis Program?

At Hudson Wellness, we recognize that there is no such thing as the perfect runner; there are multiple different types of runners, and you may embody different running classifications at various points throughout your lifespan. Whether you are an avid runner or a new runner who wants to get into the sport, you are eligible for our program.

For simplicity’s sake, these are the three types of runners who typically seek consultation at Hudson Wellness and may be most interested in our Running Gait Analysis Program.

Novice Runner

This type of runner is someone interested in getting into the sport. You may have run in the past, but it has been some years since you laced up your trainers. Or, you may run casually and infrequently enough that running feels new to your body every time you hit the trails.

Avid Runner

This type of runner runs regularly and considers it a fundamental part of their personal exercise program. You may be actively training to compete in a running race, or you may simply be hitting the treadmill a few times a week. Either way, running feels familiar to your body.

Injury-Focused Runner

This type of runner wants to build on running performance and prevent future injuries. At Hudson Wellness, our highly skilled providers help you succeed in your goals of injury prevention.

Regardless of how you classify your running style, we always have ways to help you to improve your running stride, gait, running economy, and efficiency. We are motivated to help you restructure your running style from top to bottom.
