Dr. Miguel Ernesto Vélez
Dr. Vélez is currently an Interventional Pain Fellow at Hudson Medical. He joined us in August 2020. His clinical interests include Musculoskeletal Medicine, Interventional Spine, Restorative Medicine as well as International and Global Medicine. His hobbies include gardening, exploring new areas of the city, planning his next trip.

Q: Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Mayagüez which is in the west coast of Puerto Rico.
Q: Do you have any hidden talents?
People are often surprised that I know how to make stained glass.
Q: What Netflix show are you currently binge watching?
I recently finished “Dark”. Amazing production value although not sure I fully understood all the timelines.
Q: What would you do for a living if you weren’t a doctor?
Veterinarian, no doubt about it! I’ve always loved working with animal and was very close to going into veterinary before medical school.
Q: What is one fun fact about you that you can share?
I have a green thumb and really enjoy planting and gardening. Currently working on my indoor jungle in my apartment.
